Non-Player Characters
As opposed to the baddies section, which reflects faceless grunts, beasties, and other archetypical challengers to throw into your games, this section is for unique individuals who may prove to serve the role of sub-bosses, bosses, recurring antagonists, or in some cases, potential allies.
The entries, found in the table of contents below, are organized as follows;
Race: Entry's racial packages. In the event of a dual racial package (most notably with undead), the current race is listed first with a notation of the former race in parentheses (i.e. "Vampire (Former Human)")
Creator: The name of the person who created/submitted the character, and an email address where they may be reached with further questions.
Canon Ties: Settings that have included the character in their canons, if any, and how strongly they are tied to the setting on a scale of 1 to 4 (1 = minor character, 2 = important one-time NPC in a story, 3 = recurring character, 4 = vitally important character to that world and its ongoing mythos). It is particularly difficult to use characters with a strong tie to their setting, and you may wish to contact the address provided in "Creator" to work out a coherent plot revolving around the crossover cameo you intend. That said, any entries sent here are considered to be open to the public domain. Appearances of a character in a setting or manner inconsistent with their canon may be considered alternate reality counterparts.
Moral Stance: Whether the character is a hero, neutral, or villain respectively. This is important to consider when adding them, as heroic characters will need appropriate justification to be antagonists while villains will be less likely to aid heroic characters without a reason that benefits them.
HP: Entry's hit point total
CP: Entry's total character points
LVL: Entry's level
ATK: Entry's Attack modifier
DEF: Entry's Defense modifier
END: Entry's Endurance modifier
MAG: Entry's Magic modifier
RES: Entry's Resistance modifier
SWT: Entry's Swiftness modifier
TEC: Entry's Technosavvy modifier
LCK: Entry's Luck modifier
Abilities
All abilities, listed by name.
First paragraph includes physical attacks followed by magical attacks and utility powers.
Second paragraph includes physical defenses followed by defensive utility powers, then magical healing/magical resistances.
Third paragraph includes movement modes.
Fourth paragraph includes Technological and Lucky abilities, if any.
Fifth paragraph includes granted abilities, if any.
Ability Paths
Ability paths completed, if any.
Weaknesses
Weaknesses, if any.
Additionally, each entry will have a small background story fleshing them out beyond a bundle of statistics. Feel free to use as much or as little of this story as you choose. It's simply there to aid gamemasters who may not have time to do all that story work themselves.

This mysterious bringer of death has haunted many a town near the outskirts of the kingdom. Decayed, inhumanly strong, and possessed of a menacing aura, the creature is rightly feared by all who know of it. Few know, however, that it began as Ant, a barbarian from the outlands whose namesake derived from his phenomenal strength in spite of his small frame. However, such power made the leaders of his tribe jealous, and they orchestrated a plan to be rid of the upstart once and for all.
While exploring a series of caverns as an advance scout, Ant was suddenly caught unaware by a cave-in, his last experience while alive being the smell of gunpowder followed by the terrifying sight of the world around him collapsing. This was no accident; the tribal leaders had conspired with brigands from the kingdom's borders to set bombs in the cave.
Of course, the story didn't end there. Soon after, any scouts from the tribe were mysteriously returned to their homeland, a savagely brutalized corpse. As the attacks neared closer and closer to the tribe's campsite, the leaders knew something was stalking their people, and ordered a move to lands beyond. However, the menacing presence followed there too, killing all who strayed beyond the campsite even a mile. Many warriors searched by day, for the attacks were exclusive to the night, but the culprit was never found.
One night, as the tribe gathered in a prayer for release from the demon that hunted them, a shape appeared in the shadow of the fire. It was gaunt, nearly skeletal, and dressed in a familiar, but blackened armor, and in spite of its small frame, wielded its signature broadsword with incredible grace and speed. The tribe never had a chance against the undying avenger, and as he left the bloodied remains of his grisly task behind, Ant also left behind his name, inverting and expanding it to T'na Neverwell. However, even though the tribe that betrayed him had met with justice, Neverwell could not rest. There was still the matter of the brigands that sold the tribe the gunpowder to begin with. They, of course, had long since settled in the kingdom beyond...

Tal Kadorin is a mystical figure appearing in the myths of various cultures throughout the ages. Almost universally, he is a traveling monk who follows the "path of Tao"; a neverending search for balance in oneself and in the universe around. Tal has, in more recent myths, also become associated with quieting restless souls.
Although there have been numerous tales about this grasslander warrior, he is never referenced as aged, although he is often quite wise and experienced. This has lead some scholars to suspect that Tal is either immortal and nomadic, moving from world to world as wanderlust and a need to restore balance to the world motivates him, or that he is a very old soul that consistently reincarnates in the same form. A possible explanation for this may be found in the fact that all known legends end with Tal finding the balance he seeks in himself and reaching a form of enlightenment.
The statistics presented here are for Tal's most recent incarnation, who is a major hero in the Phoenix City Chronicles setting, although they may be used for multiple Tals in multiple realities or worlds where he may yet simultaneously exist. Note that the Tempest Staff fighting style in the Physical Attacks section is the character's own invention.
