Lucky Abilties
NEW ATTRIBUTE: LUCK
Some guys have all the luck, while the only luck some people seem to have is bad luck. With this attribute, you can make your own luck! Here's how it works...
Luck checks, unlike most other checks, aren't made on a d20, but rather, a d100. That is, when you need to make a Luck check, it means that there is between a 1-99% chance (exact percent set by the storyteller based on their needs and preferences) that a desirable event may occur, item may be found, monster may appear, or some similar twist of fate. If you succeed (that is, roll under the set percent) of your Luck roll, the outcome works in your favor. If not, you lose the roll, and the outcome is at the mercy of your storyteller (typically bad).
So how does this work as an attribute? Simple; for every 2 points you put in luck, you can lower your roll by 1%. For example, if you put 10 points in luck, every Luck check you roll is reduced by 5, and so, has a 5% better chance of being in your favor.
Also, for every 2 points you put in Luck, you may purchase a Lucky ability. Lucky abilities let you use your Luck modifier in new ways, or otherwise increase the chance of good things happening to you. Examples of lucky abilities are as follows...

STEADY HAND
Description: You have a higher chance for a good Attack roll.
Mechanic: You may treat any Attack check as a Luck check. That is, your Luck modifier actually improves the roll in your favor by an appropriate amount (for example, 10 points in Luck will effectively increase your Attack roll by +5). Using this ability is automatic.
