Character Advancement
As your character goes out into the world, they will face increasingly difficult challenges. To meet these challenges with the vigor that heroes are known for, your characters must be able to advance, growing stronger with every obstacle they overcome.
This system uses a table noting how much XP (experience points) the challenges you face are worth based on their level, and how much XP a character needs to reach each level. When players reach the necessary XP cap, they level up, getting 5 additional character points to spend on their attributes as they see fit.
Listed below is the XP/Level and XP/Challenge table. These tables take into account the formula "Next Level x 3 x 400 = Suitable Cap". This is able to be checked in reverse for calculated XP gained by challenges; "Suitable Cap / 4 = Challenge XP". Using this formula, characters should be able to face four challenges of their own level before reaching the next level. Each table only goes up to Level 10, but the formula can go on forever.
