Standard Sparring Rules
At the conclusion of a nonlethal (to knockout or surrender, but not death) sparring match, the winner is awarded 50% of the total XP they would have gained if they had killed their opponent. The loser is awarded 25% of the total XP they would have gained if they had killed their opponent, representing that, while they did pick up some useful information, the winner won for having studied his opponent more carefully.
Further, to prevent abuse of this system, sparring matches should be limited to once a level between any group of two or more players. At subsequent level-ups, players may again spar each other for extra experience, representing testing against each other new tricks learned between levels. Players may spar as many times as they wish between levels, of course, but should only gain experience for it one time per level.
